Seriously Fairydrops should change the packaging pronto! Issue #3 with the tube: it's opaque so you don't know how much you have left. One time the product landed on the lapel of my newly laundered white dress shirt. It's hard to get the right amount, and it tends to squirt out glops of BB cream! Always, always aim it downwards, on your face or back of the hand. You have to be careful when squeezing the stuff out of the tube. It's not even a straight-out smooth plastic thing it has a rubbery texture that grabs on to any mess you have on your hands. The white tube is a magnet for smudges.I usually use two pea-sized drops of the product for the whole face if I'm using the detachable sponge one small squeeze if straight from the tube. I only usually need to retouch once if I'm wearing this for a straight eight hours. Lasts all day with only minimal retouching. You can see how very thin and skin-like it is. It usually takes me four to five hours before I oil up with this. It won't block off oil completely (nothing does) but when I'm wearing this I oil up later even in very humid weather. ![]() It feels sticky initially but when it dries it just doesn't feel like anything. I reckon these two shades can accommodate NC20 to 35 (light to medium). Fairydrops Candy Bar only comes in Light Ochre and Ochre which is limiting but I find that the product adjusts to the skin after a few minutes. It has a satin finish which means that it's not glowy or dewy more like matte but with a bit of fresh lustre to it. It won't cover major blemishes or acne but it can give brighter-looking skin. It has light to medium coverage, which evens out my skintone well. Not just good or nice, but fantastic both in person and on camera. It's supposed to have micro-gold pigments and soft focus powder in the waterproof formula. A Japanese newscaster, who needed something that will look good on harsh studio lighting, is credited for helping formulate it. While other BB creams focus on skincare claims and sun protection, the Fairydrops Candy Bar is all about perfecting the skin. It's also the first BB cream I've encountered that has no SPF whatosever. ![]() No question about it, this stuff is da cheese! It's a great face base for two reasons: the flawless satiny finish and color match (at least on me). I'm sure you've already seen the raves about the Fairydrops Candy Bar BB Cream (P1,550) from the other beauty bloggers.
