But not being able to integrate with homekit now defeats the purpose of the purchase quite frankly The lock is working well so far with the August App and the auto-unlock so far plays well too. My Apple Homepod is only 2 meters or about 6 feet away, well within bluetooth range (understand that august is strangely using bluetooth for homekit) I have tried removing and readding the lock to Homekit several times but the issue persists. The strange thing though is that I get very delayed notifications via Homekit if I use the August App for Locking/Unlocking Unlock / Lock commands just runs into the dreaded “No Response” message Problem is once the lock is in Homekit, I have no way of using it from Homekit.
